Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Hvozdiyar met with NATO Special Mission Commander for Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (SAG-U/NSATU) Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard. During the talks, the possibility of deepening cooperation between the parties was discussed, particularly on joint manufacturing of weapons and military equipment.

Development of Military-Technical Cooperation

According to Hvozdiyar, agreeing on strategic projects for the future will enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities in the event of conflict with an aggressor. Special attention was given to involving international partners in the implementation of joint projects and the development of new technologies.

«We discussed the creation of joint manufacturing of modern unmanned systems - this is what is currently saving the lives of military personnel and civilians en masse,» emphasized Hanna Hvozdiyar.

Kamikaze Drones from Russia

Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havryliuk stated that Russian forces are improving kamikaze drones equipped with 16-channel systems, making them harder to shoot down. To repel attacks, defense units use various means, including anti-aircraft missile systems and interceptor drones.

As a result of the meeting between representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and NATO, the possibility of deepening cooperation in the production of weapons and military equipment was discussed. Attention was also paid to the development of advanced technologies to enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities, especially in the context of the threat posed by Russian kamikaze drones.
