Україна та ОАЦПС розширюють партнерство: вплив на світову продовольчу безпеку.

On November 11, during a working visit to Belgium, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky met with a representative of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States to discuss cooperation in the field of food security.

Ukraine continues to be one of the important suppliers of agricultural products for the countries of Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific region, contributing to stability in the global food market even during wartime.

Strengthening global food security

During the meeting, joint actions to enhance global food security and opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between Ukraine and the member countries of the Organization were discussed. The transfer of technologies and knowledge in agriculture for the development of the agricultural potential of countries in the Southern Hemisphere was also discussed.

The expansion of cooperation with the Organization will allow for the enlargement of markets for Ukrainian agricultural products, the implementation of joint projects in agriculture, and solidifying Ukraine's position as a guarantor of global food stability.
