UN Financial Support Program for Ukrainians
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has launched a new financial support program for Ukrainians, which provides a one-time payment of 10,800 hryvnias for the most vulnerable groups of the population. This assistance is designed for three months, i.e., 3,600 hryvnias for each month. Registration for material aid is conducted in 12 regions of Ukraine, except for Donetsk and Kherson regions, where registration is carried out by mobile teams.
The application for payment must be submitted by the head of the household. The financial assistance is paid in one payment to the household's account. Methods of receiving funds include:
- bank transfer,
- Western Union services,
- Vibrant,
- PrivatMoney.
Since September 2025, it has become possible to receive payments through the PrivatBank transfer system, which will simplify the process of obtaining financial support for Ukrainians.
Importance of the Program
This program is a significant step in supporting those who find themselves in difficult conditions and provides an opportunity to receive the necessary funds to meet basic needs.
The introduced financial support program from the UN is part of the efforts of international organizations aimed at addressing the issues of poverty and social insecurity in Ukraine, especially in the context of the economic crisis. Supporting the most vulnerable groups of the population emphasizes the importance of international assistance in ensuring social stability and improving living conditions in the country.
