Funding for Businesses and Households
Between June 1, 2024, and May 25, 2026, banks extended over 4,500 loans totaling UAH 47.2 billion to businesses, while more than 18,000 loans worth UAH 3.4 billion went to households. In total, projects across 21 regions of Ukraine received UAH 50.6 billion in financing.
Financial institutions actively supported initiatives involving the construction, reconstruction, and restoration of generation capacity totaling 1,763 GW. Additionally, projects focused on electricity storage, heat supply, and the upgrade of thermal equipment with a combined capacity of 715 MW were carried out.
Energy Loan Portfolio Status
As of the end of May 2026, the gross energy loan portfolio for legal entities stood at UAH 30.5 billion, while the portfolio for individuals reached UAH 2.6 billion. These figures reflect the strong involvement of banks in financing energy-related initiatives in Ukraine.
