Ukrainians are warned that when crossing the border, certain rules regarding the transportation of currency must be followed. As reported by the publication 'Hvylya', the State Customs Service reminds of the importance of the corresponding declaration if you are transporting an amount exceeding the limit of 10,000 euros.

When crossing the border with currency, if the amount exceeds the specified limit, you need to have a package of documents confirming the legal origin of the funds, such as identification, bank statement, purchase agreement or receipt of funds, and other relevant documents.

Ukrainian legislation provides for various sanctions for violating currency rules. Unintentional exceeding of the limit may result in a fine of up to 100% of the exceeding amount. Therefore, it is better to be vigilant and always comply with the requirements of the law.

Do not forget that timely and proper documentation of the transported currency when crossing the border will help avoid troubles.
