Main Export Directions
The main directions for grain exports to European Union countries remain:
- Hungary
- Slovakia
- Poland
- Romania
On average, 49.7 wagons of grain travel daily through the Ukrainian-Hungarian border crossings. The average daily grain transfer volume to Slovakia is 34.3 units, while the daily flow through the Ukrainian-Polish border crossings is 13.8 wagons of grain. Transfers to Romania have also increased, reaching 12.8 units per day.
This was reported by Valeriy Tkachov, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Operations.
Thus, Ukrainian Railways demonstrates positive dynamics in grain exports, which is an important factor for the country's agricultural sector.
The growth of grain cargo exports in Ukraine indicates recovery in the agricultural sector, which is crucial for the country's economy. The increase in grain transfer volumes to European Union countries may also indicate the availability of demand for Ukrainian products in international markets, which could positively impact the financial performance of agricultural producers. Successful grain exports may become an important factor for stabilizing the economic situation in Ukraine amid current challenges.
