Ukrainian forces are increasingly deploying long-range drones equipped with artificial intelligence to strike Russian supply lines, causing a severe fuel deficit in Crimea. These advanced drone models feature autonomous targeting and can hit objectives up to 150 kilometers beyond the front line. In May alone, attacks on Russian fuel tankers surged by 40% compared to the previous month, while the number of destroyed air defense launchers more than doubled.

Since May 21, the occupation authorities have temporarily restricted truck traffic across Crimea—a clear sign of serious fuel supply disruptions. On Thursday, Ukrainian drones struck four bridges in occupied territories that link the region to Crimea. “We are seeing advanced units like 'Rubicon' retreating. We are successfully hitting their command centers, and because of that, they are trying to move out of the strike zones.”

Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized the significance of these actions:

“We are implementing a 'logistical lockdown' for the Russian army.”
George Barros added: “We are talking about dismantling Russian logistics in depth, expanding the strike zone, and making it very difficult—if not impossible—for the Russian infantryman to infiltrate.”

According to Mykola Bielieskov, “We must learn the lesson: premature euphoria is in its own way as dangerous as total pessimism.” The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to actively target Russian supply lines, significantly impacting the situation in the region.
