2026 Winter Paralympic Games Competition
At the 2026 Winter Paralympics, Ukrainian athletes competed in the 10km classic cross-country skiing event for visually impaired athletes on March 11. Dmytro Suiarko, guided by Oleksandr Nikonovych, finished in 5th place with a time of 30 minutes and 17.7 seconds. Suiarko was just ten seconds behind the bronze medalist, Zebastian Modin.
Other Ukrainian competitors in the event included:
- Ihor Kravchuk, guided by Andrii Dotsenko, who finished in 9th place;
- Romana Lobasheva, guided by Anastasiia Shabaldina, who also secured a 9th-place finish. This was Lobasheva's first time competing at this distance in a Paralympic Games.
