Ukrposhta 2.0 Launches Apple Pay and Google Pay Payments, Expands Parcel Locker Network

Ukrposhta впроваджує нові можливості оплати та розширює мережу автоматизованих поштових терміналів.

Introducing New Features in the Ukrposhta 2.0 App

The Ukrposhta 2.0 app now supports online payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay, enabling users to pay for delivery fees, cash on delivery, customs charges, returns, and parcel storage directly within the app — no need to visit a post office. This service covers both domestic and international shipments, with plans to extend payment options to parcel lockers soon.

With round-the-clock accessibility, the app streamlines the payment process, allowing customers to complete transactions conveniently on their mobile devices. After payment, users receive electronic receipts via push notification or Viber message. Consequently, visits to post offices are simplified to just handing over parcels or picking up deliveries.

Complimentary Parcel Forwarding and Future Developments

Ukrposhta has also announced free parcel forwarding throughout October 2026. This service can be used while the parcel is en route to the post office or once it has arrived there.

"Starting today, you can pay for your parcels directly within the Ukrposhta 2.0 app, reducing your time at the post office. Recognizing the challenges of accessing some branches during alerts, Ukrposhta is offering free parcel forwarding for all of October," said Ihor Smilianskyi.

Upcoming updates will allow users to pay for parcels upon arrival in parcel lockers through the app, making collection even more convenient. The Ukrposhta 2.0 app offers a variety of features including:

  • Creating shipments
  • Tracking parcels automatically without manual tracking number input
  • Forwarding parcels
  • Changing recipient details or cash on delivery amounts
  • Extending parcel storage periods
  • Arranging returns

The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play. By the end of 2026, Ukrposhta aims to expand its parcel locker network to 1,000 locations nationwide, with over 600 already integrated inside post offices.

Introducing online payments via widely used platforms marks a significant improvement in Ukrposhta’s service, simplifying how customers interact with postal services. The free parcel forwarding initiative also reflects the company’s commitment to accommodating customer needs, particularly when access to some branches might be restricted. These advancements are expected to enhance overall user experience and strengthen customer loyalty.

As Ukrposhta continues to enhance its services, it's worth noting that starting September 23, the company is also prioritizing parcel senders at urban branches by implementing multiple service windows. This initiative aims to reduce wait times and improve customer experience, complementing the recent launch of the Ukrposhta 2.0 app features.
