Ukrposhta to deliver winter 1000 hryvnias: who will receive it through the post

Укрпошта розпочинає виплату однократної допомоги в розмірі 1000 гривень: які категорії громадян можуть скористатись цією послугою.

Ukrposhta will become the main operator for delivering one-time payments

The company 'Ukrposhta' will play a key role in delivering one-time payments under the 'Winter Support 2025' program. The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development reported that 'Ukrposhta' will ensure the receipt of funds in settlements with limited access to banking services throughout Ukraine, including frontline and hard-to-reach areas.

A one-time payment of 1000 hryvnias will be received by all citizens of Ukraine, except for those who are abroad or in temporarily occupied territories. The Ministry emphasizes the importance of 'Ukrposhta' in ensuring access to state support for those who cannot use banking services or digital platforms.

'For many small settlements, 'Ukrposhta' is the opportunity to receive state assistance without unnecessary delays and obstacles,' emphasizes the Ministry.

The Ukrposhta network for timely delivery of payments

According to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba, 'Ukrposhta' has over 4400 permanent and 1900 mobile branches, as well as over 26,000 points of presence. This allows timely payment delivery in regions where the banking infrastructure is limited or unstable.

In 2024, 'Ukrposhta' provided funds to over 2 million citizens, including over 1.2 million living in rural areas, and more than 171 thousand received payments in frontline communities.

Implementation mechanism of the 'Winter Support 2025' program

The current payment mechanism remains similar to last year's. Pensioners and recipients of social payments serviced through 'Ukrposhta' will automatically receive 1000 hryvnias on the day of pension or social assistance payment. Those who cannot use the 'Diia' application due to lack of connection or other reasons can apply for assistance at 'Ukrposhta' branches or through the mailman.

For individuals with limited mobility, an option to apply through a hotline is provided. After receiving an SMS notification about the allocation of funds, they can visit the branch or wait for delivery from the mailman. Application acceptance will last from November 18 to December 24.

Ukrposhta has taken on the responsibility of ensuring timely delivery of one-time payments to all citizens of Ukraine under the 'Winter Support 2025' program. The Ministry of Community Development emphasized the importance of the postal company's role in access to state support for the population that has limited access to banking services and digital platforms. Thanks to its extensive network, 'Ukrposhta' provided timely receipt of funds for millions of Ukrainians living in various regions of the country.
