Ukrzaliznytsia Announces Revised Train Schedules for February 25

Оновлені розклади руху потягів від Укрзалізниці на 25 лютого.

Latest Update from Ukrzaliznytsia

Ukrzaliznytsia has issued an operational update regarding train schedule changes for February 25, prompted by security concerns in several regions. For instance, train No. 54/53 on the Odesa–Dnipro route will now operate daily, ensuring a stable connection between these cities.

Furthermore, train No. 101/102, which runs between Barvinkove and Kherson, is confirmed to connect with a transfer service from Kramatorsk. This will allow passengers to continue their journeys without interruption. Connections between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia are primarily being handled by bus transfers, demonstrating Ukrzaliznytsia's ongoing adaptation to the current situation.

Train Operations in Challenging Regions

In regions facing complex security situations, train movements are being organized according to the prevailing conditions. The following adjustments are in place:

  • In Sumy Oblast, regional trains are temporarily running to and from Konotop;
  • In Chernihiv Oblast, on the Nizhyn route, adapted schedules are in effect for suburban services;
  • In Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts, particularly from Lozova towards Kramatorsk, passengers are being transported by bus.

Meanwhile, regional express trains on the Izium route are running according to schedule.

In Zaporizhzhia, operations to and from Dnipro-Holovnyi station are temporarily limited for several long-distance trains. This affects train No. 86/85 and No. 128/127 on the Lviv–Zaporizhzhia–Lviv route, as well as trains No. 6 (Yasinia–Zaporizhzhia) and No. 40/39 (Solotvyno–Zaporizhzhia–Solotvyno). These measures are intended to ensure passenger safety and adapt the transport system to current challenges.

Ukraine's transportation network continues to face severe strain due to ongoing military actions and security threats. Ukrzaliznytsia, the state railway operator, is constantly revising its schedules to prioritize passenger safety while maintaining vital links between key population centers. The frequent schedule changes and implementation of bus replacements are a direct response to the immense pressures on the country's wartime infrastructure.
