On February 19, 2026, Ukrzaliznytsia once again adjusted the train schedule considering the security situation and difficult weather conditions in several regions. Monitoring groups are working in enhanced mode, and decisions are made promptly. This is reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
Changes in train schedules on February 19 in Eastern Ukraine
In Sumy region, regional trains temporarily run to and from Konotop.
In Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, passengers are transported by buses from Lozova to Kramatorsk. Train No. 102 to Kramatorsk is waiting for transfers from buses coming from Donetsk, which are delayed due to difficult weather conditions.
Regional express trains on the Izyum direction are running with minor delays.
Route adjustments on February 19 in the Zaporizhia direction
Some services to Zaporizhia are temporarily limited to Dnipro. The affected trains are:
-
Train No. 86/85 Lviv - Zaporizhia - Lviv
-
Train No. 5/6 Yasinia - Zaporizhia - Yasinia
-
Train No. 128/127 Lviv - Zaporizhia - Lviv
-
Train No. 51/52 Odesa - Zaporizhia - Odesa.
A bus transfer has been organized between Dnipro and Zaporizhia. Other long-distance trains are planned to operate to or from Zaporizhia, but final decisions will depend on the security situation.
Passengers are advised to follow the instructions of train crews and station staff, as well as to enable push notifications in the Ukrzaliznytsia application.
Similar changes are implemented by the company whenever there are threats or adverse weather conditions to maintain communication between regions and minimize risks for passengers.
It is reminded that Ukrzaliznytsia is changing its financing model. The transition to the PSO model (Public Service Obligation) is being considered, under which the state will compensate the difference between the tariff and the cost of transportation.
