The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes to the Procedure for State Registration of Medicines. This is aimed at making it easier to obtain generic drugs on the market and expanding opportunities for the procurement of new drugs, including purchases funded by the state budget.
The new rules provide for a simplified procedure for state registration for centralized purchases using state budget funds. This initiative concerns medicines that already have the appropriate permits and confirmations from international organizations or programs.

According to representatives of the Ministry of Health, these changes will help implement innovative medical products with a defined level of effectiveness and safety more effectively in Ukraine. This will pave the way for the faster spread of new drugs in the country's medical institutions.
