The government is changing the rules for the military and defense industry: main innovations

The government of Ukraine has approved a number of important changes aimed at improving the service conditions for military personnel and supporting defense production. Among them are the simplification of procedures for transfers between military formations, compensation for medical expenses abroad, tax benefits for arms manufacturers, and cooperation with NATO.

The most significant change is the ability to submit an electronic report through the 'Army+' application to change the place of service between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard. Now military personnel can transition between different structures, not just within the same one. Defined review periods for personnel centers of the Armed Forces are established for all transfers.

In particular, the community will support military personnel who have undergone treatment abroad, and tax benefits are provided to arms manufacturers for the re-import of components. Additionally, Ukrainian military personnel will cooperate with NATO at the Joint Center JATEC in Poland to develop joint projects and apply modern approaches to defense planning.
