New Interim Leaders Appointed to Key Security Posts
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has designated temporary leaders for several critical state institutions. Oleksandr Poklad has been named acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), while Maksym Tsutskiridze takes over as acting head of the National Police. Presidential Decree No. 622/2026 authorizes Oleksandr Poklad, who previously served as the first deputy head of the SBU, to temporarily assume the top role.
