Mass shootings in Alabama: two dead, minors among the injured

In downtown Montgomery, Alabama, a shooting occurred, resulting in at least two fatalities and 12 injuries. The conflict began when one man opened fire on the crowd, and others responded with gunfire. The shooting took place in the midst of hundreds of nightlife attendees.



According to James Graboys, the altercation started after one man opened fire on the crowd - in response, several individuals drew weapons and began shooting at each other right among hundreds of nightlife attendees.


Police have already identified the deceased – a 43-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy. Five others are in critical condition, among them minors. Weapons and shell casings were found at the scene. The investigation is complicated by the fact that the shooting occurred after a football match that drew a large crowd.



Incident in Sweden and detained suspect


Recently, in downtown Gavle, Sweden, a shooting also occurred, injuring six people, including several minors. Emergency services and law enforcement promptly arrived at the scene. A 13-year-old boy, suspected of committing the crime, was detained nearby and questioned.
