Attack on servicemen in the Odesa region
Today, October 30, during mobilization activities in the Odesa region, a crowd attacked the servicemen of one of the local Military Recruitment Centers. There are injuries among the soldiers. Civilians, using physical force, tear gas, and batons, attacked the staff of the Recruitment Center. As a result of the attack, a service vehicle was damaged, and there are also injuries among the servicemen.

We do not view this case merely as hooliganism or an act of protest, but as a direct attack and an attempt to forcibly obstruct legitimate mobilization activities. Such actions are absolutely unacceptable! No disagreement with the actions of state bodies can justify violence against servicemen fulfilling their constitutional duty, the message states.
Investigative actions and responsibility for the attack
Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting investigative actions to establish and identify all individuals involved in this offense. The entire sequence of events has been recorded on the body cameras of the Recruitment Center servicemen. These materials are already being transferred to the investigation.
The actions of the attackers fall under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, for which responsibility is extremely severe. We urge citizens not to succumb to provocations and to finally realize that such acts of violence work solely to the enemy's advantage and harm the country's defense capability. The Odesa Regional Military Recruitment Center continues to carry out the tasks set by the military command, ensuring the staffing of the Armed Forces units to strengthen the country's defense capability and repel the aggressor.
