In occupied Sevastopol, kindergartens have adopted an emergency operating schedule due to disruptions in the power grid. According to statements from the city's occupation governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev, some facilities have shifted to a duty-group model, where children will receive dry rations instead of hot meals. The occupation authorities have also urged parents to keep their children at home.
Preschools located in the Northern side of Sevastopol, as well as those in Inkerman and Orlinoye, will continue to operate normally. In other districts of the city, early childhood education centers will function on a reduced schedule. Officials have not provided an official explanation for the power system failures.
