Pensioners with service records have been prohibited from receiving a salary and a pension simultaneously

Ветерани, які мають трудовий стаж, тепер не можуть отримувати одночасно заробітну плату та пенсію.

Ukrainian pensioners who receive a pension for years of service can no longer work and receive a pension at the same time, forcing them to choose only one type of payment. This does not apply to regular pensioners who retired at the age. The changes also imply the obligation to notify the Pension Fund about employment or dismissal within 10 days, and in case of violation of this rule, overpayment may arise, which will have to be returned.

The ban on receiving both a pension and a salary applies to individuals working in the same position they held before retirement, such as teachers, medical workers, and civil servants. Continuing to work in a pensioned position results in the suspension of the pension payment until official dismissal. Employment may also lead to the cancellation of certain pension supplements, including allowances to the minimum level and other targeted payments.

'Regular pensioners, those who retired at the age, can calmly continue to work and receive two payments: both a salary and a pension,' emphasized analyst Kateryna Kotenko.

Thus, the new rules for working pensioners in Ukraine involve changes in the conditions for receiving pensions and the mandatory notification of the Pension Fund about employment within 10 days. These changes may affect pension payments and supplements for various categories of workers.
