Ukraine’s National Accessibility Week Kicks Off
Running until May 31, Ukraine’s National Accessibility Week has officially begun. The initiative focuses on promoting correct language usage and public education to deepen society’s understanding of accessibility. The Embassy of Ukraine in Spain is also taking part in this important effort, which aims to advance inclusion and accessibility for everyone.
Reviewing Progress on 25 Accessibility Projects
During a meeting of the National Accessibility Council, officials assessed the outcomes of 25 projects being carried out by various ministries and agencies. These initiatives are designed to foster a barrier-free environment in Ukraine, a key step toward ensuring equal rights for all citizens. The campaign was spearheaded by Olena Zelenska, who emphasizes the critical role of using precise and respectful language.
