Ukraine is implementing a large project to create prosthetic microclinics for rehabilitation after amputations with a budget of over 4 million euros. This initiative is being carried out under grant agreements signed in April 2025 between Ukraine and France for a total amount of over 51 million euros, as reported by the Ministry of Health.

The main goal of this project is to enhance the capabilities of the healthcare system in the field of rehabilitation after amputations, to create prosthetic microclinics and equip them with modern equipment, and to train specialists. Currently, the largest share of funds is directed to Lviv, where a production center and a prosthetic microclinic are being established.

The installation of equipment is currently completing here, including 20 modern 3D printers and manufacturing machines that will allow the production of up to 600 prostheses per month. This will help establish one of the largest prosthetic manufacturing centers in Europe.

It is planned to deploy microclinics in other regions of Ukraine, such as Poltava and Kyiv region. Each microclinic will have an area of about 80 square meters and will be equipped for the comfort of specialists and patients.

In summary:
Ukraine is implementing an important project to create prosthetic microclinics for the rehabilitation of patients after amputations, which will improve the accessibility of quality medical care in this field. The focus is on developing infrastructure and equipping with modern equipment.
