Domestic Violence Trends in Ukraine
During the first six months of 2026, Ukraine recorded 35,821 reports related to domestic violence, with women making up the majority of complainants. Dmitry Lubinets, the Ukrainian Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights, emphasized that these figures likely represent only a fraction of the true scale, as many victims remain silent due to fear and social stigma.
