Over 1.5 million displaced persons registered in Ukraine

As of August 15, over 1.5 million forced displaced persons from Donbas and Crimea have been registered in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.


According to the latest data from social protection departments, 1,589,014 displaced persons or 1,278,714 families from Donbas and Crimea have been accounted for.


As of August 15, the displaced have received 1,683,333 thousand UAH in assistance.


It is reminded that in Donbas, in the zone of military conflict, 586 thousand Ukrainian citizens have not received pensions and social payments since the beginning of last year, as they have not undergone the registration introduced by the government of the country.
