The most vouchers for training have been issued in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Among the most popular professions and specialties chosen by Ukrainians this year with the vouchers are nursing, psychology, cooking, social work, and vehicle driving. 'With the voucher, one can enhance qualifications or undergo retraining in one of 156 professions and specialties at educational institutions licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The list is updated every three months on the agency's website,' the Employment Service explained. Participants in the program can study at higher educational institutions as well as at vocational schools, including eight centers of vocational education, where there is an emphasis on the development of practical skills crucial in the modern labor market.
The program is funded by the State Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine for unemployment. The compensation for training amounts to 30 thousand hryvnias.
