Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andriy Stashko announced that teachers in educational institutions across the country will receive an increase in their monthly allowance. Starting from the next school year, they will receive twice as much money for special working conditions - 2600 hryvnias before taxes.
Approximately 400 thousand educational workers are expected to receive this increase. This applies to all categories of teachers, regardless of working conditions.
'The allowance that was established for special working conditions for teachers at the amount of 1300 hryvnias is paid to each teacher monthly from January 1. From September 1, the allowance will increase to 2600 hryvnias,' - explained Andriy Stashko.
Who will receive the increased allowance
- all teachers;
- directors and deputies with teaching load;
- teachers with part-time jobs or partial employment;
- educators from any region of the country.
The Ministry of Education noted that the new allowance is provided to all teachers in schools, regardless of their rating or work results.
For the financing of the increased allowance, the government allocated 12 billion hryvnias. This initiative concerns all teachers of general educational institutions, regardless of workload and work location.
The government is increasing the monthly allowance for teachers in schools from 1300 to 2600 hryvnias before taxes. This measure applies to all teachers, including directors and teachers with part-time jobs. In the field of education, this is a significant achievement that will enhance the social status of teachers and motivate them for further successes in their work.
