The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a law on the possibility of reserving employees at critical enterprises. This right will be granted only to companies in the defense sector that are part of the defense-industrial complex.
'This law concerns enterprises recognized as critical in the defense sector. That is, this is not for all critical enterprises. It is about the defense-industrial complex,' explained MP Fedir Venislavsky.
Workers who are wanted by territorial recruitment centers can receive a temporary reservation for 45 days to resolve their situation. The purpose of the law is to preserve valuable personnel and ensure the uninterrupted operation of enterprises producing defense-related goods.
'The next day, they were sent to the training ground, from where it was impossible to return the person. As a result, the enterprise was forced to stop or delay the production of goods,' Venislavsky said regarding the unfortunate situations that prompted the adoption of this law.
The bill aims to address the issue and ensure the stable operation of defense enterprises where important personnel play a key role. To come into effect, the document must pass a second reading. The law was developed to avoid disproportion and retain specialists in their jobs.
