Russia reports an attack by Ukrainian drones
On the night of October 6, Russian authorities announced the largest attack by Ukrainian drones in recent times. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, air defense destroyed 251 drones over various regions, including occupied Crimea, Kursk, Belgorod, and the Black and Azov Seas.
The aftermath of the attacks resulted in serious disruptions to infrastructure. Restrictions have been imposed at the airports of Tambov, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Sochi, and Gelendzhik. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed the downing of a drone that was approaching the capital.
Attacks on Russian facilities and occupied Crimea
It is reported that 40 drones were intercepted over Crimea, 34 over the Kursk region, 30 over Belgorod region, 20 over Nizhny Novgorod, 17 over Voronezh, and others.
In Feodosia, in occupied Crimea, local channels report that an attack was carried out on a fuel base. Incidents have also been recorded in other regions, particularly in Bryansk and Belgorod, where there were significant material damages and injured people, including children.
It has been reported that Ukrainian drones carried out attacks over various regions of Russia and occupied Crimea, leading to serious consequences and material damage. The aggressive actions of the drones caused restrictions on infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population.
