According to The Times, due to issues related to the sale agreement of the football club 'Chelsea', war victims in Ukraine may receive only a portion, rather than the entire profit.
Roman Abramovich sold the club for 2.35 billion pounds three years ago. However, a significant portion of these funds may be used to pay off debts, which will reduce the charitable contribution to approximately 1 billion euros, as indicated in the financial reports of 'Fordstam Ltd'.
The London government insists that all funds must be used exclusively for humanitarian purposes in Ukraine, while Abramovich expresses a desire for the fund to support 'all war victims', which may mean directing some funds to Russia as well.
It is worth noting that in September, Roman Abramovich was under investigation for suspected corruption and money laundering in Jersey.
