Famous Ukrainian singer and leader of the band 'Tanok na Maidani Kongo' Oleg Fagot Mikhailyuta shared his views on Andriy Danilko's refusal to translate his songs into Ukrainian. According to the artist, the refusal reflects an unwillingness to transform, rather than the difficulty of translation, as Danilko believes. Mikhailyuta even cited an example of how Olya Polyakova successfully transitioned to the Ukrainian language, which shows that everything is possible if there is a desire.

According to the artist, his colleague's position that he will not translate his hits into Ukrainian because they result in subpar material outrages him. Fagot speculated on the real reason behind the singer's decision.

Verka Serdyuchka's Response to the Conflict with Taras Kremin

After the scandal surrounding Verka Serdyuchka's concert, where a Russian-language program was performed, the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language Taras Kremin stated that such songs have no place in the Ukrainian capital, especially during wartime. Andriy Danilko has already explained that he does not plan to abandon the Russian language for communicating with other musicians.

According to Oleg Fagot Mikhailyuta, the key to successfully transitioning to the Ukrainian language is the desire. Olya Polyakova's story is a great example of how this can be achieved. Meanwhile, Verka Serdyuchka and Taras Kremin are engaged in an ongoing discussion about language and cultural values.
