Ukrainian Military Personnel Invited to Participate in Vaccination Survey via Army+ App by October 13

Українські військовослужбовці можуть взяти участь у опитуванні щодо вакцинації через додаток Army+ до 13 жовтня.

Survey on COVID-19 Vaccination Among Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Office of the Military Ombudsman of Ukraine has launched a vaccination survey targeting Ukrainian service members. Accessible through the 'Surveys' section of the Army+ mobile application, this questionnaire is open from September 30 until October 13. The primary goal is to enhance understanding of vaccination attitudes and improve communication regarding immunization within the military.

Participants are encouraged to share their personal vaccination experiences, including whether they received vaccines during their service and how they felt about it. The survey also explores factors motivating or discouraging soldiers from getting vaccinated. Additionally, respondents can indicate their trusted sources of vaccine information and identify which questions they would like answered before deciding to vaccinate.

Significance of the Survey

The survey gathers responses not only from vaccinated personnel but also from those hesitant or refusing vaccination. Since the Army+ app’s launch, over 20 surveys have been conducted, influencing key decisions such as updates to military ration distribution strategies, the introduction of new app features, and the appointment of a new head at the Petro Sahaidachnyi National Ground Forces Academy.

Recent upgrades to the Army+ app include a redesigned main interface to facilitate easier navigation and better access to verified enemy casualty data, current updates, and quick links to essential digital services. Information about this vaccination survey and other app updates is publicly available on the Rubryka website, reflecting a commitment to transparency and accessibility for armed forces personnel.

By collecting diverse perspectives on vaccination, the Military Ombudsman’s initiative aims to inform future health policies within Ukraine’s armed forces. Incorporating feedback from soldiers with varying vaccination experiences will support the development of more effective health programs tailored to the needs of military personnel. This approach highlights the importance of involving service members in decisions affecting their health and safety.

In light of ongoing efforts to enhance the well-being of military personnel, the recent launch of the ‘Robot Army’ initiative by former Defense Minister Fedorov aims to further improve soldier safety and operational efficiency. This initiative, alongside the vaccination survey, underscores a comprehensive approach to addressing the needs and concerns of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
