Ukrainian fighter survives with a bullet in his heart after three years in captivity: a story of medical miracle

A Ukrainian soldier who participated in the defense of Azovstal in Mariupol and spent three years in Russian captivity miraculously survived after receiving a bullet in his heart. This was reported by Glavkom, citing the director of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Boris Todurov.



According to Todurov, the fighter was injured during the battles for Mariupol and subsequently found himself in Russian captivity.


Two months ago, he was freed from captivity, and now doctors successfully removed the bullet from his heart. Todurov emphasized: 'For three years he lived with this bullet. Fortunately, it did not cause harm, and now we have removed it. It is truly a miracle that the boy survived.'



A sniper wounded a father and son with a single bullet


Earlier, there was a case where a Russian sniper wounded a father and son with a single bullet. Viktor Obertos recounted that the sniper shot the soldier at their position. The injury was serious; however, the boy managed to stay alive despite a punctured chest and injured organs. Viktor noted that they continued to drag the wounded, but unfortunately, he died on the way to the medical point.
