Russian occupiers have amassed over 2000 drones
Electronics expert Serhiy (Flash) Beskrestnov reported that Russian occupiers have gathered around 2000 drones, over 1400 of which are the 'Shahed' modification. According to him, this is just the main stockpile, not accounting for reserves.
“Currently, Russians have over 2000 UAVs, including over 1400 Shaheds. They can be used in massive attacks or distributed over the winter period,” emphasized the expert.
Beskrestnov explained that these drones can be used for massive strikes or distributed over a prolonged period. He also noted that the largest number of launched drones in a single day reached 750, which occurred in September 2025.
Massive attacks on Ukrainian territory
Given the large number of drones in the hands of the Russian military, the head of the communications department of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Ihnat, noted that Russia has enough resources to conduct regular massive attacks on Ukrainian territory, especially in winter when attacks on energy facilities are more frequent.
Russian forces have already begun using strike drones Shahed-136 with a dual warhead, significantly increasing their power. Photos of the new drone modification were published by expert Serhiy Beskrestnov, known as Flash, who emphasized that the warhead volume reaches about 100 kg.
Thus, the presence of a significant number of drones in the hands of the Russian military may lead to an escalation of the conflict and an increase in the number of attacks on Ukrainian territory by the occupiers.
