As of August 1, a revised transport schedule has started in Kyiv region between Kyiv and Bila Tserkva. These changes are aimed at improving interregional transportation and combating illegal stops, reports the 'Krokus' TV channel.
Drivers are required to adhere to specific stops. Passenger boarding and alighting is not allowed outside official bus stations.
Passengers can now board a minibus to Bila Tserkva only at two bus stations. The first one is the 'Kyiv' bus station at 32 Symon Petliura Street, near the Central Railway Station, from where vehicles will depart to Bila Tserkva from platform No. 51. The second is the 'Avtovokzal Kyiv' bus station at 1 Nauky Avenue, from where minibuses will depart from platform No. 17. Services at both bus stations will operate daily from 07:00 to 21:30.
New rules for enhancing passenger safety and comfort
The Ministry of Infrastructure notes that this is just the beginning of the reform of the passenger transport system. It is planned to completely eliminate illegal stops, implement electronic tickets, monitor compliance with routes and schedules, as well as gradually update the vehicle fleet. Similar changes are expected to also affect other routes within the Kyiv region.
