Ryanair launches new flights from Warsaw in 2026

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair announced the launch of new flights from Warsaw in the summer season of 2026. The company plans to expand its network of flights from two capital airports and add several popular destinations to European cities. This is reported by Visit Ukraine.

The expansion of the flight program will primarily affect Warsaw-Modlin airport, which remains one of the key hubs for the carrier in Poland. According to Ryanair's CEO Michael O'Leary, the company expects significant growth in passenger traffic in the region.

New Ryanair flights from Warsaw: routes from Modlin airport

The summer flight schedule from Warsaw-Modlin airport will feature a number of new international routes to popular tourist cities in Europe.

The new destinations include:

  • Alghero (Italy, Sardinia)

  • Bratislava (Slovakia)

  • Lamezia Terme (Italy)

  • Valencia (Spain)

  • Milan (Italy)

  • Palermo (Italy)

  • Sofia (Bulgaria).

Overall, Ryanair plans to operate about 50 routes from Modlin. The airline's fleet at this airport will also increase to seven aircraft, which will allow for more flights.

Ryanair flights from Chopin airport: what will change

New routes will also appear at the main capital airport in Warsaw - Frederic Chopin airport.

From here, Ryanair plans to operate flights to the following cities:

  • Leeds (United Kingdom)

  • Porto (Portugal)

  • Seville (Spain)

The company forecasts significant growth in passenger traffic. According to preliminary estimates, in 2026, around 700,000 passengers will be transported from Chopin airport, which is a 36% increase compared to last year.

At the same time, Ryanair warns that due to rising aviation fuel prices, ticket prices may gradually increase, so travelers are advised to plan their trips in advance.

It should be noted that popular airlines among Ukrainians have been recognized as the worst in the EU.
