Ukrainians honor the memory of the victims of the war between Ukraine and Russia every day at 9 a.m. Today we will remember the name Anatolii Koreiko.
In September 2025, Anatolii was killed in Dnipropetrovsk region while fulfilling his military duty.
The life story of the defender
Anatolii Koreiko was born on February 25, 1983, in the village of Yapalot. After school, he served in the military, after which he worked in construction. He was a generous person, full of kindness and smiles.
In July of this year, Anatolii was mobilized and served in eastern Ukraine.
“He really wanted to serve. He liked the atmosphere at the training ground. He was a very kind person, always ready to help,” recalls his wife Zoryana.
The final journey and memory
Anatolii was buried on September 30, 2025, in his native village. He is survived by his wife, daughters, mother, and sisters.
