Poland deported 17 Ukrainians: among them – a convicted murderer

Польща вислала 17 українців, серед яких – засуджений злочинець.
In October, the Polish border guard sent 17 individuals to Ukraine who were deemed a threat to national defense or public safety. These citizens were detained during checks on the legality of foreign nationals' stay throughout the country.

Lieutenant Piotr Zakelaz, spokesperson for the Bieszczady border guard section, emphasized that among those deported were individuals who had served sentences for serious crimes. They were forcibly taken to the border, where they received a ban on re-entering the Schengen Zone for varying periods.

The full readmission of foreigners to Ukraine is carried out with the participation of the Bieszczady section of the Polish Border Guard. Deportation applies to individuals who break the law or pose a threat to security. At the same time, Ukrainians who abide by Polish laws can calmly stay and work in the country.
