Every day at 9 am, Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Dmytro Kurashik.
The life of the senior soldier was abruptly cut short on October 2 during leave due to ischemic heart disease. This was reported by
“Glavkom”citing the Rivne City Council.
Dmytro Kurashik was born on August 4, 1987, in the city of Chita on the territory of the Russian Federation. When he was four years old, his parents moved to Rivne. Dmytro studied at School No. 19 and graduated with a profession as a welder.
Almost his entire conscious adult life, Dmytro dedicated to military service. In 2008 he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2015, he was in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation.
Comrades described Dmytro as a reliable friend and a responsible person. He was always ready to help. He enjoyed fishing and loved to collect mushrooms.

Dmytro is survived by his wife, 12-year-old son, father, and sister.
Farewell to Dmytro Kurashik took place on October 3 at Independence Square in Rivne. The servicemen were buried at the 'Nove' cemetery.
