Protection of Military Rights: Over 1700 Individuals Restored Their Rights in 2024

Відновлення прав військових: У 2024 році понад 1700 осіб отримали справедливість.

Since the beginning of this year, the Main Directorate for the Protection of Military Personnel Rights (MDPMP) has already considered over 3,600 appeals from military personnel and their family members, reports the Ministry of Defense.

39 considered appeals led to inspections of military units, territorial command centers, and services, as well as medical institutions. As a result, the rights of 1,746 military personnel and their family members were restored. If signs of a criminal offense were detected, the materials were forwarded to law enforcement agencies, and 67 notifications were sent to the State Bureau of Investigation, as stated in the report from the Ministry of Defense.

The figures indicate that during 2024, only 2,340 appeals were considered. For appeals to the MDPMP, it is recommended to use the email: E-mail: mpd@mod.gov.ua. When submitting an appeal, it is necessary to indicate the full name of the person, contact details for feedback, the essence of the issue, specific requirements, documents confirming the authority of the person submitting the appeal, and evidence of violations. It is emphasized that anonymous appeals are not considered.

As a result of processing over 3,600 appeals from military personnel, the Main Directorate for the Protection of Military Personnel Rights was able to restore the rights of over 1,700 individuals and forward materials regarding potential criminal offenses to the relevant services. This work is aimed at protecting the interests of military personnel and their families and increasing their level of protection in modern realities.
