What determines salaries in Poland in 2026
The lowest salaries are recorded in industries with a large number of available candidates. In particular, such fields include detective and security services.
«Where businesses compete for a limited number of specialists, employers are forced to raise salaries to retain people or attract new employees,» explained the specialists of the staffing company.
At the same time, in professions with a large number of applicants, the possibilities for rapid salary growth are significantly lower. Thus, incomes in Poland are influenced not only by the qualification of the worker but also by the shortage of specialists in a specific field.
It is worth noting that the average salary in Ukraine increased by 6 thousand UAH over the year and currently reached 30 thousand UAH. The highest salaries are offered by employers to managers, drivers of international transportation, programmers, and other deficit specialists.
