Income Growth of Ukrainians in Poland in 2026
Starting from 2026, Ukrainians working in Poland can expect an increase in income due to the increase in the minimum wage and a shortage of labor. From January 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Poland is set to rise to 4600-4800 zlotys gross. In conversion to Ukrainian currency, this will be approximately 54000-56000 hryvnias.
Active Development of the Labor Market
According to research, 27% of Polish companies plan to expand their staff in 2026, while 6% plan to reduce it. This indicates active development in the labor market and increased demand for labor. The main sectors where Ukrainians work include:
- manufacturing and logistics
- food industry
- construction
- service sector (Horeca)
The average income of Ukrainians in Poland is rising in proportion to the overall pace of the Polish economy.
Despite positive changes in salaries, competition among candidates for prestigious positions will also intensify. As expert Marta Kamińska noted,
"the increase in salaries in Poland opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian workers, but requires efforts from them to adapt to the new market conditions."This may affect the employment dynamics in the coming years.
The announced increase in the minimum wage in Poland may become an important factor for Ukrainian migrants looking for stable and profitable job opportunities. Given the active development of the labor market, Ukrainians have a chance not only to improve their financial conditions but also to find jobs in new fields that match their skills. At the same time, increasing competition may require workers to enhance their qualifications and adapt to a more demanding market.
