At an international conference in The Hague (Netherlands), Deputy Head of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NABU) Serhiy Hupyak shared Ukraine's experience in the fight against corruption. He noted that Russian aggression is causing severe losses for the country, already exceeding 176 billion US dollars. Hupyak emphasized the importance of restoring and developing the state during and after the war, highlighting the need for transparent rules to ensure quality recovery of the country’s infrastructure and economy.
NABU has already joined the European Network of Partners in the Fight against Corruption (EPAC/EACN), demonstrating solidarity and work towards preventing corruption. The conference discussed important issues of fighting corruption with the participation of more than 150 experts from 30 countries, which is a significant step in strengthening international cooperation in this field.
Ukraine's efforts in combating corruption and recovering from Russian aggression have gained international recognition, confirming the importance of joint work and sharing experiences in this area.
