Third in Europe: Ukraine Earns 76 Medals at the European Armwrestling Championships

The Ukrainian national team claimed third place in the overall standings, showcasing their exceptional training and skill. In total, Ukrainian athletes achieved the following:

  • 23 gold medals
  • 30 silver medals
  • 23 bronze medals

These honors were won across various age groups and weight divisions.

Masters Category (40+) Achievements

Ukraine also made a strong showing in the left-arm competitions:

    • Yevgen Vakula (up to 70 kg)
    • Viktor Mushyrovskyi (up to 90 kg)
  • Silver medals:
    • Olena Klishyna (up to 60 kg)
    • Liliya Zanko (up to 80 kg)
    • Oleksandr Rassokhin (up to 70 kg)
    • Anatoliy Venhlovskyi (Grand Masters, up to 70 kg)
  • Bronze:
    • Serhiy Kesarev (over 110 kg)

In the same category for right-arm contests, Liliya Zanko took gold, while Olena Klishyna, Oleksandr Rassokhin, and Ivan Los earned silver. Bronze medals went to Viktor Mushyrovskyi, Serhiy Kesarev, Anatoliy Venhlovskyi, and Volodymyr Samburskyi.

Senior Division Results

In left-arm competitions, Oleg Zhokh (up to 90 kg) won gold, while Veronika Kozyratska (up to 55 kg) and Ruslana Symonenko (up to 90 kg) secured silver. Bronze medals were awarded to Sofia Onopriienko (up to 50 kg) and Mher Musaelyan (up to 100 kg).

In the senior right-arm category, silver was claimed by Ruslana Symonenko, Andriy Dendeberya (up to 55 kg), and Vadym Savenko (up to 65 kg). Bronze medals went to Yuliya Hadayeva (up to 65 kg), Olena Trehubova (up to 90 kg), and Artur Sakalo (up to 100 kg).
