Military Personnel Honored Ahead of War Anniversary
On the eve of the anniversary of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has presented state awards to members of the armed forces. By presidential decree, two individuals received the 'For Courage' order for acts of heroism displayed while rescuing civilians following Russian bombardments.
The recipients are Sergeant Vladyslav Rozhkovskyi of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty war correspondent Marian Kushnir. These awards underscore the vital roles played by both military personnel and journalists who risk their lives to save others and report from the front lines.
