Natalie Ray, a 56-year-old mother of three from Kent, was arrested in the United States and charged with a large-scale theft. The woman, who came to the USA for a vacation, faces up to 50 years in prison. And all this over six bottles of rare Pinot Noir. Yes, indeed, a wine theft!

According to the investigation, Natalie Ray, along with an accomplice, stole exquisite wine from the French winery Domaine de la Romanée-Conti in Burgundy. The value of the stolen bottle exceeds $40,000. Now this is no laughing matter.

The investigation claims that the incident occurred at the restaurant L'Auberge Provençale in Virginia, where Ray committed the crime pretending to be the assistant of a wealthy Canadian businesswoman. Quite an unusual theft, isn't it?

In court, Ray has been charged with grand larceny, conspiracy, and fraud. But the accused claims she was forced to commit the crime. If this is true, it's like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster! The main thing is not to get caught up further in this story.

We all have secrets and places we'd like to escape to. But stealing wine from a restaurant is a bit much. Now let's remember the legendary veteran Norman Irwin, who turned 107 and was celebrated like never before. Keep it up, Grandpa!
