In several regions, the movement of trains has been changed and detour routes have been introduced due to infrastructure damage. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
How train movement has changed in Kirovohrad region
As a result of a night shelling, the railway infrastructure of the region was damaged. Fires have been extinguished, there are no casualties — everyone moved to shelters in time. Train movement has already been restored on both tracks, but due to power outages on certain sections, delays of more than two hours are possible. The affected trains include:
-
№51/52 Odesa — Zaporizhzhia
-
№127/128 Lviv — Zaporizhzhia
-
№7/8 Kharkiv — Odesa
-
№53/54 Dnipro — Odesa
How train movement has changed in Sumy region
In Sumy region, a temporary combined transportation scheme has been introduced — part of the route is covered by buses. In particular, passengers on train №787 Tereshchenska — Kyiv are transported to Konotop, where a transfer to train №779 Sumy — Kyiv is organized.
How train movement has changed in Kharkiv region
Due to the aftermath of shelling, the movement to Lozova is being carried out via altered routes with delays. Some passengers are being transported by buses. In particular, last night, passengers of train №92/91 Kramatorsk — Odesa — Kramatorsk were delivered to their destination.
The route of train №103/104 Kramatorsk — Lviv has also changed. Despite the detour, a planned civil evacuation was successfully conducted — 19 passengers with reduced mobility and several pets were transported.
Today, trains will run with a detour via Merefa with an estimated delay of up to two hours:
-
№102 Kherson — Kramatorsk
-
№104 Lviv — Kramatorsk
-
№712 Kyiv — Kramatorsk
Ukrzaliznytsia emphasizes that railway workers continue to operate even in challenging conditions, ensuring the safe transportation of passengers and humanitarian cargo.
Earlier, we wrote that Ukrzaliznytsia is responding to the needs of the front, sending new cars on routes to Kharkiv and Dnipro. In total, this is the sixth part of the 66 cars ordered last year.
