A golden statue of U.S. President Donald Trump holding a bitcoin has been installed near the U.S. Capitol. This interesting news is reported by 'Glavcom', citing WJLA.

The temporary installation is placed on Third Street from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It has been co-funded by a group of cryptocurrency investors. The organizers stated that this installation aims to spark a discussion about the future of digital currency, monetary policy, and the role of the federal government in financial markets.

“The installation is designed to start a dialogue about the future of currency issued by the government, and it is a symbol of the merging of modern politics with financial innovations. Considering that the Federal Reserve shapes economic policy, we hope this statue will encourage people to think about the growing influence of cryptocurrencies,” said Hicham Zaghdi, a representative of the group of cryptocurrency investors who funded this artistic project.
