Warning of Hazardous Weather Conditions
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a yellow-level danger alert for Kyiv and the surrounding region, forecasting thunderstorms for March 31. Residents are advised to follow safety guidelines to avoid hazardous situations. Yellow is the second of four levels on Ukraine's weather hazard scale, indicating potentially dangerous conditions.
These storms may be preceded by a deterioration in weather, as observed on March 30 on Mount Pip-Ivan, where conditions included cloudiness, fog, limited visibility, a north wind strengthening to 14 m/s, and an air temperature of -3°C.
