'Future Camp' Project Kicks Off

According to Главком: The Japan Football Association has unveiled a new initiative called 'Future Camp,' modeled after the hit anime series 'Blue Lock.' The project aims to scout young talent abroad and strengthen Japanese football on the global stage. The first training camp is scheduled for August 3–6, 2026, in California, USA, and will feature players under the age of 16.

Tsuneosu Miyamoto, a representative of the association, stated: 'Global football is becoming borderless, and the era of young Japanese players staying exclusively in Japan is over. We are excited to take on this challenge together with "Blue Lock," a work that portrays a serious ambition for world domination.'
