Creating a Support Fund for Frontline Territories: What Businesses and Communities Will Receive

The Association of Frontline Cities and Communities (AFCC) presented a comprehensive set of solutions to support the economy in frontline regions. One of the key proposals is to create a Support Fund for Frontline Territories. This Fund will be aimed at those who constantly face the challenges of war, in order to provide them with prompt assistance, said the Mayor of Kharkiv and Head of AFCC Ihor Terekhov.

According to Terekhov, frontline communities should receive special attention as an important element of national security. They should not be viewed only as problematic zones, but also highlight special support mechanisms that correspond to their needs and risks.

To ensure comprehensive support for frontline territories, Terekhov proposes to create a Fund that will serve as the foundation of a new state policy in this direction. It should help make quick and effective decisions that take into account the conditions in which businesses operate near the front line.

As a result, the AFCC's initiative to support frontline territories by creating a special Fund could become an important step towards stabilizing and developing these regions, providing them with the necessary support and incentive for further economic growth.
