According to ХВИЛЯ: A strike on critical infrastructure in Kyiv's Desnianskyi district has resulted in severe utility disruptions. The Troieshchyna neighborhood has been hardest hit, with approximately 600 residential buildings losing all essential services, including heating, water, and electricity. City authorities are implementing emergency measures to support the affected population. This incident is part of a wider pattern of attacks on civilian infrastructure during the ongoing conflict.

City Response and Relief Efforts

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that the situation in Troieshchyna is the most severe. He emphasized that

"the enemy's latest attack on Kyiv"

aims to leave the capital and its residents without heat, water, and power. Klitschko reported that utility and energy crews are working around the clock to restore services and urged residents to inform the KMDA Department of Social Protection about vulnerable neighbors who may be isolated.

To aid residents, the city is establishing additional heating shelters in five local schools. These shelters are being equipped with:

• food supplies,
• and cots,

allowing people to stay there day and night. Social workers are also coordinating the relocation of individuals requiring special care, providing them with hot meals and medical assistance.

Emergency repair teams from energy companies and Kyivteploenergo are working at the damage sites. Vitali Klitschko expressed hope that all efforts will overcome this challenging situation and called for unity among Kyiv's residents.
